I am a researcher in the Child and Adolescent Resilience and Mental Health (ChARM team) at the University of Cambridge, Department of Psychiatry. I am currently working with the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration to build a website and e-learning module about self-harm. The resources will support teachers' knowledge and confidence in supporting students who self-harm.
I am a graduate of Psychology (BSc Hons) and Psychological Research Methods (MSc). I started my BSc in Psychology with an interest in addiction and clinical psychology and volunteered in secure psychiatric hospitals for the treatment of traumatic brain injury and personality disorders.
In 2018 - 2019, I worked in the Centre for Research in Play, Education, Development and Learning at the University of Cambridge. From 2020 - 2023, I worked in the Faculty of Heath and Social Sciences at Exeter University. I worked on studies investigating anti-bullying, how to measure psychological concepts and how to implement and sustain interventions.
